Day 1 of writing practice retreat
My laptop with Natalie on the screen and on top of her the little squares with the other zoom participants. A bunch of stickers next to the computer's keyboard: la fiera meditating, a female skeleton (with blue hair adorned with a conch shell and a starfish) coming out of the mouth of a big green fish, a woman dressed in black with a strange thingy like a tiara made up of monkeys on her hair and a rhinestone at the top of her hairdo, a white jar with a purplish label and a pair of green leaves. Next to my computer is my small pink digital CANON camera and a small green bowl in the form of a one-eyed moster holding a fork and a used red English Breakfast tea-bag. Next to it is my red muy with Saramago's signature across it in white. A used white paper tissue lies in front of an old and battered orange and black eyeglasses case. There is a pair of white speakers, one on each side of the laptop. Also a collection of different colored-pens, scattered on the table: blue, purple, black, green, red, light blue, along with another one in the form of a cat and another in the form of a bunny. My Monet mug with a pointing of an impressionist London holds still more pens: purple and pink, and markers. There's another mug, white with grey letters, from a university in Lithuania, that holds more pens, a dark blue fan and a very old 15-centimeters long wooden ruler. There's a plastic bottle with water to be sprinkled at any of my two cats, especially the new one, if they misbehave, an external dark grey and black mouse for my computer on the left, next to an old used white paper napkin.
